Visit to the city’s historical centre with tour guide to observe and reflect over its historical, religious, traditional and artistic aspects. Hike to Mount Subasio Park and the surrounding woods, rich with hundred-year-old trees and abundant bird life. Environmental education and nature observation co-ordinated by a specialized guide. The third day may be dedicated to a visit to one or more Umbrian artistic centres.

1° DAY
· Arrival in Assisi and check-in at Ostello della Pace.
· Visit to the city with tour guide (3 hours)
· Dinner and overnight stay at the hostel.

2° DAY
· Hike to Monte Subasio with a qualified guide from the Corpo Forestale dello Stato for:
half day OR
whole day
· Lunch break with packed lunch
· Dinner and overnight stay at the hostel.

3° DAY
· Guided tour of the museum and palaentological sites of Monte Subasio Park.
· Lunch break
· Day trip to one of the following Umbrian cities by one’s own means: Spello, Perugia, Gubbio, Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto or Lago Trasimeno.
· Dinner and overnight stay at the hostel.

· 2 or 3 nights stay at the Ostello della Pace in a dormitory of 4, 6 or 8 beds with bathroom facilities on each floor, and private rooms for teachers.
· 1° Day and 3° day priced at half-board with 2° day as full-board including packed lunch

· Tourist guide for 3 hours
